Cryotherapy is the use of extreme cold to freeze and remove abnormal tissue. It is used to treat many skin conditions including warts and skin tags.

By targeting and freezing the affected tissue, cryotherapy helps to destroy unwanted growths while leaving surrounding healthy skin unaffected. This minimally invasive procedure is quick, effective, and often requires little to no recovery time.

It is generally well-tolerated, though some patients may experience mild discomfort, a stinging or burning sensation, and redness in the treated area. Blisters may form in the treated area within a few hours or days, but these typically resolve within a few weeks.

While cryotherapy is highly effective for many skin conditions, it may not be suitable for larger areas of treatment or certain conditions. We recommend speaking to your doctor to see if cryotherapy is for you.
